First horse ride!

Hunter hopped on Andy with Gramps' help! He loved petting him, and was very happy about these big furry creatures!

Bananas!

Hunter ate bananas yesterday and he loved it!!!! He was diving for the spoon!!!

Green Beans!

Hunter are green beans last night, his first food! Not a fan though!

Hunter rolled over!

Hunter rolled over tonight! The first time we missed or but we put him back on his tummy and we got to see it!!! We were so excited!

He has been doing it at night in his crib for about a month....but of course we are sleeping!

Mother's Day!

Hunter and daddy surprised me with the most amazing gift!!!! They worked so hard!

Late 4 mo post...

At four months old, he is:
-Sleeping through the night every night
-Still napping pretty good throughout the day
-Eating about 6 ounces every 4 hours
-Is happy with anyone holding him in just about any position.
-likes to stand up, too
-has started giggling more and more
-loves his bouncer
-not a huge fan of tummy time
-will hold a rattle and anything else we give him
-pulls your hair if you have any, loves daddy's beard and mommy's hair
-has found his hands and feet and likes to try and eat them
-smiles and coos
-will look at you when you say her name
-tracks you around the room as you walk
-has not figured out how to eat with a spoon

Ok!
So 2 nights ago I woke up to hunter screaming in his crib..so I ran In there to check on him and he had rolled over from his tummy to his back and didn't know what to do with himself! Too bad the doesn't record because I would have loved to see it!!! He is also army crawling (we are assuming) in the middle of the night because we put him on one end and he ends up on the other! Silly boy!!!

Tonight hunter grabbed his bottle and pulled it out of his mouth and then put it back it!!! He is getting so big!!!

We had a pretty busy day. Went to a cookout and played on some really soft carpet! He slept most of the day because we wore him out!

Daddy's first game with Hunter!

It was interesting but fun!!! Had an upset tummy that made us loose out clothes and stroller...haha.

First belly laugh!

Hunter had an amazing day yesterday and slept all night. When we say momma or daddy to him, he thinks its funny and talks back normally by just a chuckle...but last night he was really laughing hard!!

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

This morning Hunter sure does feel better... This has been a week long adventure that I would rather not repeat. This poor boy has had it all this week. He has not thrown up this morning and his diapers are only half loose. His lil pepee is looking better. As far as his excema is concerned it still looks pretty bad, but can tell that the Cetaphil is helping. One thing about this boy is that he is an amazing baby. Even when he is at his worst and feeling terrible, he is still a good baby.

On thing new this week:
He has found his feet. He keeps grabbing them, and laughing. :)

Doctor again...

Ear infection has gotten worse, new anti for that, he got a yeast infection in his penis, has a stomoch bug and his back and front is terrible excema that flare when he has an infection. She also mentioned his tear duct was blocked.

All day yesterday he threw up an unreal amount... But he still weighed 16.12 oz!!!

Hunters First Easter

We went to Amarillo for Hunters first Easter! We had a good time. Here are some of our Easter pictures!

First ear infection and pink eye

Well! It's been a rough week. Hunter has been pretty fussy and went from sleeping all night to hardly sleeping at all. He didn't have a fever so we didn't take him to the doctor. But on Thursday I woke up and Ben said that I had pink eye. So I went and I had pink eye in both eyes and an upper respiratory infection. We decided to go ahead and take Hunter to the doc since we had a long weekend ahead of us and he had his first ear infection. No wonder he was fussy. He weighed 16.5 lbs and was 26 inches long! Then we woke up this morning and he had pink eye as well. This is us consoling each other...pretty good snuggle buds!

Gi Doctor today

Dad took Hunter to the GI doctor today and he told us that Hunter had bad enough acid reflux that he did infact need to be seen by him, Dr. Higgons. The doctor increased Hunters Zantac  (We were taking .4 ml 2 x a day and now we are doing 1 ml 2 times a day. and also had us start RICE CEREAL! We put it in Hunters bottle tonight for the first time and he seemed to like it. Dad cut a big hole in the nipple of the bottle so that it would come out. The ratio currently is 1 T per 2 oz of formula. He is going to be staying on 1.32 ml of mylanta 2x a day.

He was such a happy baby today. Cannot believe how big he is getting!

Naked Baby!!!

Hunter always makes me laugh! He would much rather be naked than anything else! No matter how many cute cute clothes I buy him from Baby Gap, he would rather nothing at all... I need to remember this summer he loves to be naked!!! Save your money!

Happy 3 months!

Wow! These past three months have flown by!!!!

Hunter weighed 15.3 lbs and was 25.5 inches long this week! Wow!

He is drinking 5 ounces every three to four hours...

Wearing six month clothes consistently and can fit in some 9 mo.

Size 2 diapers.

Smiling and cooing a lot! A very happy boy!

Still getting up 1x a night. Normally about 3 am.

Dad is gone skiing and it's just been Hunter and Mom! We have loved our time together! Grammy came over and stayed the night last night and Poppy has been over to take us to dinner every night!

The Bumbo

Hunter had his first bumbo experience today and he seemed to like it! However, he definitly has to be in the mood for it....because we tried it several other times throughout the day and he was less than impressed.

His First Blizzard

Today we have had what the National Weather service is calling a blizzard. We have had about 6 inches of snow. Nana Shana is in Amarillo and they have had 19'". WOW! Needless to say both Dad and I got to stay home with the boy today. It was great!
Hunter is finding out his hands do neat things... He has grabbed his passy several times today and is constantly holding his hands together.

Hunter decided that he just needed to be naked in this blizzard! Silly Boy! Or maybe silly parents for letting him!

 

When we put Hunter to bed tonight he was wearing a 6/9 month onsie... and it was tight... HOLY SMOKES!!! THIS BOY is a chunk! 

2 months old

Wow! We are two months old!
Today Hunter laughed for real, on purpose at an older lady at church when she pinched his toes! It was precious!
At two months he is wearing 3-6 month clothes, but is mainly on the 6 month end!
-He is wearing size 2 diapers.
-Sleeping about 5-6 hours straight, and normally wakes up about 3 to eat every night, he then goes right back to bed until 6 when we wake him up!
-Still napping pretty good throughout the day
-Eating about 5 ounces every 3-4 hours
-Wants to be facing out seeing what's happening
-likes to stand up, too
-has started smiling more and more
-has really started to love his play mat!
-pulls moms hair and dads chest hair
-has found his hands and likes to try and eat them
-smiles and coos
-tracks you around the room as you walk for short spurts
-has started sticking out his bottom lip if he gets upset
He seriously is so much fun and we can't imagine life without him!

Wow! So many firsts this week!!!

On Sunday night, Hunter was such a happy happy baby!! I have never seen him so bubbly! Hunter stayed with Mrs. Kelly Monday and Tuesday! Hunter went to the doctor on Monday and got his first set of shots....he weighed 12 lbs 11 oz, so we gained 1 whole pound in 2 weeks 24 in long- gained an inch in two weeks and his Head circumference was 15". He received 3 shots and had a fever of 100+ for 2 days after. He sure did not feel good! He started his first day at Montessori School yesterday! He looked so handsome and they said he did great!!! They even sent me a picture at work! They must have wore him out because he slept all night!
