8 days old!

We had a great night last night! We tried not waking Hunter up to feed every three hours and just purposely waking him up at 3. But he woke up at 2:30 and let us know he was hungry! Perfect timing!!! Then we put him to bed and fed him again at 6, and continued feeding him every three hours during the day! This was much better on mommy and daddy's sleep schedule too!

We started off the morning feeding/ diaper change with our umbilical cord falling off! We were so excited! Almost like we unwrapped a present!!! Ben and I looked at each other and pondered over saving it!? But we have this little guy on a pedistal... So of course we did! Ben says that I save everything.... and it's true! 

At our 2 o'clock feeding Hunter held his bottle all by himself! Wow!! 
 

Hunters pictures came in from the hospital today, they were all just perfect! He looks like an angel! 

This evening we also discovered a rash on Hunters face! Grammy says its from the milk... Eeek! I am hoping it clears up quick, because he has pictures on Friday! Poor little fella!
